Kildare Castle, Kildare Town, County Kildare, in May 1987.
It was one of 4 towers connected by a wall in the centre of Kildare town. The first wooden structure on the site is believed to have been built by Strongbow in 1170.
Now restored and newly rendered it makes up part of a pub and guesthouse in the town.
