Nenagh Castle, County Tipperary, in August 1987.
A well known and prominent Irish National Monument dating from the thirteenth century. The five storey donjon was the largest of three, maybe four, towers which made up part of the curtain wall. Little of which remains.
The top part of the tower is a nineteenth century addition.
