Glashere or Glashare Castle, County Kilkenny, in July 1986.
A very interesting substantial tower house, believed to have been inhabited up to 1851. It was rendered and had some later brick work incorporated into it. Associated with the Ormond family. The adjoining buildings, walls, ringfort and graveyard are worthy of further study.
