Ballindooley Castle, County Galway, in July 1987. At that time the doorway on the east wall was in bad condition. There was a small and a large chamber on each floor. The spiral was broken above first floor level. Good cut stone. Large guard by door. Large plain fireplace on the south wall on the first floor. The arch below it, appeared to have recently collapsed.
