Ardintenant Castle, also known as White Castle, County Cork visited in August 1986.
Remains of a bawn with a small tower were also observed. In the little ivy clad tower there was a vault over the first floor. The ground floor dimensions are approx 8’ x 4’. The O’Mahony tower house had an entrance at first floor level. On the south side there was a straight mural stairs. A vault over the first floor. As it appeared to be unsafe at the time, we did not venture upstairs. There was a garderobe shute on the NE corner.
