Clifden Castle, Co. Kilkenny

Clifden Castle, County Kilkenny, in October 1990.
The towerhouse was surrounded by interesting out buildings some of which may once have made up part of a bawn.
There was a good straight mural stairs, along with a vault in good condition, in 1990.
