The owner was modernising it at the time. It had been reroofed in circa 1976 with native deal. The stone spiral stairs was in poor condition and a steel spiral stairs had been installed in the upper floors. Work was in progress at the time of our visit.
Vault over first floor had been roughly renovated. Good atmosphere.
